Time is critical in an emergency situation. The File of Life is designed to bring important medical information to the attention of EMS providers in the case of an emergency.
The File of Life is a red plastic magnetic file folder that attaches to the refrigerator, and contains important medical information about you. It should be in plain view for any emergency response personnel. Emergency teams are trained to look for the packet when responding to area homes. ![]() File of Life Information includes: medications taken, allergies, medical conditions, blood type, recent surgeries, emergency contact information, physician name and other important medical information.
File of Life packets are available free of charge from the Munroe Falls Fire Department. Packets can be picked up Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Munroe Falls Fire Department Station 1, located at 43 Munroe Falls Avenue.
The Munroe Falls Fire Department File of Life program is made possible by a donation from the Munroe Falls Fire Rescue Association. |
