The City of Munroe Falls and Simple Recycling are offering a new simple, easy, and free service to recycle your clothing, shoes, accessories and other items such as kitchenware, tools, toys, homegoods and books.

This program is being offered in addition to your current recycling
program. Your regular recycling collection day will remain the same.

Gas Aggregation Program January 2016 Update E-mail
gas_burner.jpgConstellation is the natural gas supplier for The City of Munroe Falls gas aggregation program through the April 2017 billing period.

The new fixed rate of $2.85 per mcf will take effect for gas flow May 2016 through April 2017.
This rate compares favorably to offers residents can sign up for on their own.  Unlike many other offers, this program has no penalty if you decide to leave early.

Electric Aggregation Program 2015 E-mail

New Trash & Recylcing Contract E-mail
Trash and Recycling (Residential)

Republic Services has been awarded the three-year exclusive solid waste collection and disposal contract beginning March 1, 2015.

Residents should have received an informational postcard with service levels and rates. 

The postcard can also be downloaded here.

Each resident must call Republic Services Customer Service (1-800-247-3644) to identify their choice of service level before February 28, 2015

Automatic Water Meter Reading Project E-mail
New Automation Meter Reading Project (AMR) will be begin in April 2015

Beginning in April 2015 the Water Department
will begin replacing all residential water meters.

to the City automatically making manual reading of your water meter
no longer necessary.

In order to properly manage the city-wide replacement program, a window type appointment will be issued to each resident. This is the most effective way to manage the replacement of approximately 2,000 water meters.

Other ways to pay your bill:
Pay by check or cash, or set up an ACH account and have your payment automatically deducted from your checking or savings account.  You can pay your bill by mail or in person. We accept check, cash, or money order. Our hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

You can also deposit your payment in the red drop box located by the entrance of City Hall.
The drop box is marked for water and tax payments.
