Metro Park _nGIEzmPj0ZpJ_nDWwT_Q_0bDLvaQ1bn0060in Munroe Falls (run by Summit County) 521 S. River Rd, Munroe Falls.  Hiking trails, fishing and lake swimming.  There is a sandy beach and several shelters.  Paddleboats can be rented.

Enjoy lake swimming at Munroe Falls. Swimming areas are open 10-a.m. to 8 p.m. May 26 through August. There are restrooms and a concession stand that sells food during the swimming season.


Lake swiming season is over (no lifeguard) so you may use the park without any fee.    This month's calendar of events. 

            

 

The Munroe Falls Metro trail is one of the Hiking Spree trails.

Guise Park – (38 Guist Park Drive) suitable for a hike and bike event, party, meeting, reception or similar event.  Call City Hall for availability (330-688-7491).  This is a secluded wooded area. Open 7 days a week.  Ample parking.  Built from original Guise House materials.

It has a full kitchen with refrigerator and sinks.  Tables and chairs will be made available.  Occupancy is 78.  No smoking or alcoholic beverages.  Heat in the winter.  Barbeque grills are outside.  The building is handicap accessible from the back.  It has restroom facilities inside the lodge.

    Rental fee: $50.00

    Deposit: $35.00

 

Non-Residents:

   Rental fee: $75.00

   Deposit: $35.00

 

Hours: 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 P.M.

Brust Park – 128 N. Main St (off 91 just north of the railroad tracks).  It has an open-air gazebo with benches, restrooms and a nearby sit-down area next to the falls.  It is connected to a larger network of hiking and biking trails. Brust_Park_gazebo

 

Rental Information for the Gazebo – suitable for small weddings, reunions and outdoor meetings. 

No alcoholic beverages permitted.  

$25.00 for each three hours of  use.
