Service Director: Larry Valentine, PE

Larry has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters Degree from the Ohio State University, and is registered professional engineer in the State of Ohio. Larry has over 35 years of experience serving as District Engineer for the Ohio EPA, and 25 years as Utilities Director for the City of Cuyahoga Falls. Larry has the highest water license Class IV and served as Water Technical Supervisor for the City Munroe Falls water system for over 2 years providing training for operators, completing OEPA requests, and completed all reporting for the City. Larry has experience in management of medium size water and wastewater systems, leaf pickup programs, and working with various public agencies.
Larry has been married to his wife Carol for over 37 years, and has a daughter Jennifer.

2008 Road Resurfacing Program
The following streets are scheduled for construction during the 2008 season:

Dates for the 2008 Twig Pickup
North of Railroad tracts - 7:30 am April 28 thru May 2nt
South of Railroad tracts - 7:30 am May 5th thru May 9th.
Brush pick up is for the removal of light yard debris (Leaf Pick Up is separate). Excessive amounts of brush may not be picked up. Branches should be no larger than 3" in diameter. Branch piles should be no bigger than 5 foot by 5 foot by 5 foot.
Do not include: finished lumber, lumber with nails or metal, vines, briars or thorny plants, or root clusters.

You can deliver your own twigs during office hours (7:30 - 4:00). Please call Dave (330-813-1060) to let him know you are coming. The twigs can be dumped at 321 S.
River Road. Take the MOST right road up a hill and dump the twigs on the large mulch pile in the middle of the clearing. They lock the gate in the evening.
2008 Leaf pickup will follow directly after the brush/twig pickup. The schedule will be posted soon.
Free Mulch
The brush and twigs collected are turned into mulch (be advised it may contain poison ivy or whatever else was in the brush collected). You can pick up the mulch at 321 S. River Road. There is a pile of it on the left next to the salt dome. 
You can have it delivered to your house for $60. Call Dave at 330-813-1060. He can arrange to deliver 5 or 8 yards of mulch dumped at your house address.
