Recycle some things for free: The City has bins for aluminum cans, paper and/or phone books on city hall property (48 Munroe Falls Ave, just off of 91). ***** Bring your aluminum cans to the fire departments bin. The cans will provide domations to the Akron City Hospital Children's Burn Unit.  It is a wooden bin sitting back by the trees on city hall property (91 and Munroe Falls Ave). This is a year-round collection.***** Phone Books - bring them to city hall property (91 and Munroe Falls Ave). Put them in a red wagon (or can) sitting near the entrance to the far parking lot. This is a year-round collection. ****** Newspaper and Magazines (no phone books or corragated boxes) Otherwise ABITIBI consolidated (216-961-3900) wants ALL your: Newspaper Magazines Office & School Papers Shopping Catalogs  Please bag shredded paper. Place paper in Deposit Can in the green and yellow bin on city hall property on the west side of the secondary parking lot.***** We currently have no free recycling area for plastic, glass, metal or corragated boxes.
