Power outages may be an issue during the storm. Make sure your phones and other devices are fully charged. Have candles, flashlights etc. close by. Prepare generators if you have one. Check on neighbors to make sure they have what they need and keep extra blankets handy. If your indoor temperature drops to 55°F or below, open faucets slightly so they constantly run to prevent pipes from freezing. Make sure you know how to disengage electric garage door mechanism if you park in a garage and need to leave during an outage.
